The other represents what is perhaps one of the best known B17G artworks ever produced - 'A Bit 'O' Lace'. The reference for this artwork was supplied by the original artist, Milton Caniff, and was a character from his own comic strip 'Male Call', armourer Nicholas H Fingelly was the squadron artist who transferred the artwork to the bomber. No national insignia are included on this sheet
